I sure have been delinquent with this... So Jake rolled over right at three months. He doesn't quite have the hang of it (he can't free his arm yet) but he has done it several times. He typically rolls when he thinks I am laying next to him and wants to eat! He is getting quite big and we think he is probably close to 19 pounds already. Alaina celebrated her 4th birthday on Aug 19th and she enjoyed her day. We started at Boots & Kimos, the local breakfast dive, for macadamia nut pancakes...In Alaina's words they are HU-normous and tasty. Then she just wanted to hang out at home and have McDonald's for dinner. She had no desire to go to the beach, pool, zoo. She wanted to hang out at home and watch movies. Fine by me, if that makes her happy. Bella has been having a hard time at school. She tells me that she is bored. I can't blame her since she is learning her ABCs and 123s (at school) for the third time now. Her teacher is attempting to challenge her with more advanced work but I don't know how long she will be able to devote the extra time to Bella. Ah, we'll see. In the meantime, Steve and I will continue to work with her like we always have. Steve was informed that he did not get accepted to the Permanent Teaching Staff position at the Academy. However, the next day he was also informed that he may be transferring this upcoming summer (summer 09). Can we get a break? I mean I was okay with moving to CT if it meant stability in an area, but this will be the 5th state my (then) 6 year old will have lived in. It would be nice to live somewhere longer than 2 years! Well there were a bunch of pictures. Steve has some on his camera that I haven't uploaded either.
