My big girl turned 9. Only one more year of single digit living...

On Saturday, we surprised her with a trip to the American Girl store at Tyson's and she was able to pick one out (Alaina bought the same one with her own money). On Sunday, we headed over to David's and Chandra & kids, and Jeff & Jennifer and kids were there, too. It was nice to celebrate with cousins again this year. On her actual birthday (the 19th) she was bummed that all the activities that she wanted to do were closed either because of the season or because school was in session. Regardless, we enjoyed a lazy day of good treats, bowling and friends over for cupcakes. Happy Birthday, honey. We love you
