A family tradition of ours is that the birthday girl (or boy) gets to decide what we do all day. Alaina decided that she wanted to open presents and then go swimming. Well, that meant we went swimming while it was raining which the kids thought was hysterical. Then she played with some of her new toys. She got a new Play-Doh set, an art projector, magnetic dress up doll, skateboard (with handle- very cool) and a new mask and snorkel which unfortunately did not fit. She was a little bummed that she didn't get her Golden Retriever puppy that she wanted. Anyway, so they played for a while and tried everything out and then we went to Yogurt Mama. They love that they control their portions and toppings. Then we picked up Colin and went bowling. We ended the day with some pizza and chocolate lava cakes, with the Kreitzers.

OMG, I can't believe she's five. Seems like just yesterday we were celebrating her 2nd birthday, with bounce house and all, in Juneau. Time flies. Happy Birthday, Alaina!
