Spring Break

Bella has been home for spring break this past week and we have tried to do some "fun" things. I had a doctor's appointment on Monday that went well, except the whole weigh in part :( We then went to one of the malls nearby that has a tram that runs between the two sections of the mall. The girls thoroughly enjoyed that, but I think the best part of the day for Bella was going to Sephora. She loves to just look at all the make-up and keeps longing to sit in the chair and get her face done. Tuesday we met Steve and took him down to Ala Moana Beach Park for a picnic lunch...unfortunately I forgot to bring his lunch and mine. Ah, pregnancy... Wednesday I took the girls to the movies to see "The Water Horse" and then we played at the park with one of Bella's school friends. Thursday we hung out at the house and played games and cleaned their play room. Friday we ran errands and colored Easter Eggs. I think the girls ate them all by last night. This morning we went to an Easter Egg Hunt and the girls seemed to have fun, even though it drizzled most of the time. At first they let the 5 and under group "hunt" for eggs in a small section. Alaina got knocked over and wasn't in the mood...until we went to the big field where all the kids could play. She cleaned house in this section because all of the big kids ran to the far end. Then we got some cotton candy and their faces painted. All in all, I think they had a good time. We'll see what the Easter Bunny has in store...
